StudySurf — Terms of Service

By creating an account or using StudySurf you agree to these Terms of Service.

1. The service

StudySurf is a study planner: it helps you organize tasks, exams, grades, class schedules and study time, with optional AI-powered assistance and home screen widgets.

The app is provided by Mirco Galeotti, Piazza Massimo d'Azeglio 30, 50121 Firenze (FI), Italy.

2. Your account

• StudySurf is made for high school students and above. You may not create an account if you are under 13, or under the age of digital consent in your country without the consent of a parent or guardian.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping access to your account secure.
• You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Log Out → Delete Account; this permanently removes your data.

3. Subscriptions

• Premium features are offered as auto-renewing subscriptions purchased through your Apple ID.
• The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel it anytime in your device Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
• Purchases are governed by Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA).
• Apple is the seller of the subscription: refunds and any statutory right of withdrawal are handled by Apple, through Report a Problem or your Apple account. We cannot issue refunds ourselves.

4. AI features

• The AI features are powered by an automated system, not by a person.
• AI-generated content (answers, quizzes, parsed schedules) is produced automatically and may be inaccurate or incomplete. Always verify important information — especially dates, deadlines and study material — before relying on it.
• AI usage is subject to fair-use limits based on your plan.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the app, attempt to access other users' data, disrupt the service, or use it for unlawful purposes.

6. Your content

Everything you write in the app stays yours. We do not publish it, do not show it to other users and do not use it to train any model; we only process it to run the features you use, as described in the Privacy Policy.

7. Warranty and liability

The app is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for indirect damages arising from the use of the app, including missed deadlines or exam outcomes.

Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have as a consumer under the mandatory law of your country.

8. Changes and contact

These terms may be updated over time; changes will be made available within the app.
